My experience as a psychotherapist is a life process of interpersonal explorations and various skills attained over the years. In the past my friends would come to me for advice and I would usually listen and say a few things. I discovered that listening and providing understanding are essential to a person’s growth, and that my ability to listen and give people this space helped them approach their problems and questions from new perspectives. These experiences made me decide to deepen my skills and pursue becoming a professional psychologist.

My training is expansive and wide in spectrum, ranging from working with incarcerated youths to helping people deal with lifestyle and relational issues. It has been my experience that growth comes in small doses. I have found in my own life that I have been able to use past experiences of my own to change and become the person I am today. My work has brought me to an understanding that all people have the ability to find a spark of hope and the courage to change in order to live a happier life. My approach to healing is to provide a supportive environment that encourages and allows this process to unfold in which a person can feel safe to explore, expand, develop and integrate all parts of their personality.

It is my privilege and intention to facilitate this experience and to accompany you and your loved ones on your way to a happier, more fulfilled life.
